Heart Lab-Grown Diamonds

The heart is a brilliant cut shaped into two rounded lobes and a point — the most explicitly romantic shape there is, and the hardest to cut well. Below about 0.50ct the outline becomes difficult to read once mounted.

Judge a heart on the cleft and the symmetry of the lobes before anything else; an uneven heart is obvious from across a room. Lab-grown diamonds are chemically, physically and optically identical to mined stones, certified to the same standards and typically 60-80% less per carat. Our lab-grown diamond guide covers the detail. Compare it with every other outline in our diamond shapes guide, and get to grips with what actually drives price in our diamond 4Cs guide. All our stones carry independent laboratory certification and transparent pricing, and our London team will talk you through any of them with no obligation.
