Peridot Engagement Rings

Peridot is one of only two gems formed in the earth's mantle rather than its crust, and it occurs in exactly one colour: olive to lime green, from the iron in its own chemistry. It has also been found in meteorites.

At 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs scale, peridot is best set protectively in anything worn regularly. Our peridot settings run from a single clean solitaire to halos that make the centre read larger. Want a white centre instead? See our diamond engagement rings, or read how to choose an engagement ring in five steps. We source ethically, price transparently, and include complimentary resizing for a year — and you can talk it through with us before you commit, at no cost.
