For Your Eternity Ltd  |  Effective date: 7 July 2026  |  Last updated: 7 July 2026

At For Your Eternity, we take great pride in creating high-quality, ethically made jewellery designed to last a lifetime. Because almost every piece is made to order or personalised for you, this policy reflects both our craftsmanship and your rights under English consumer law.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Your statutory rights

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the jewellery we supply must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it is not, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund as set out below. These rights apply regardless of anything else in this policy.

Bespoke and personalised items

Because our pieces are made to your individual specification or clearly personalised for you, they are exempt from the 14-day right to cancel that normally applies to online purchases (under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013). This means we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind on any item that is:

  • custom-made, bespoke or specially crafted for you;

  • shaped-to-fit, engraved, or made to match an existing ring;

  • resized or altered after purchase; or

  • worn or damaged after delivery.

This exemption does not apply where an item is faulty or not as described — see below.

Faulty or incorrect items

If your item is faulty, not as described, or does not conform to the agreed specification, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. Your options under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are:

  • Within 30 days of delivery — you may reject the item and receive a full refund.

  • After 30 days — you may ask us to repair or replace the item.

  • If a repair or replacement is unsuccessful, not possible, or would cause you significant inconvenience, you may claim a price reduction or reject the item.

Please report any fault to us as soon as you notice it — and, to exercise your 30-day right to reject, within 30 days of delivery — by emailing hello@foryoureternity.com with your order number and a description of the issue (photographs are helpful).

We will provide full return instructions. Items should be returned securely, in their original condition and packaging, via a tracked and insured service. For faulty or incorrect items we will cover the cost of return and, where a refund is due, refund you using your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the item back (or of you providing proof of return).

Diamond quality and natural variation

As is standard within the jewellery industry, diamond grades and colours are approximate. Minor variations — typically within two clarity or colour grades — are considered acceptable due to the natural characteristics of gemstones. All diamonds are responsibly sourced and graded to internationally recognised standards. Where applicable, stones are certified or supplied with documented origin information.

Broken engagements or a change of heart

A broken engagement, a rejected proposal or a change of heart is not a reason for which we can accept the return of a made-to-order ring. However, entirely at our discretion, we may offer to buy back your ring, based on:

  • the scrap metal value of the ring; and

  • the second-hand resale value of any diamonds or precious stones.

These values are typically much lower than the original purchase price. We strongly recommend taking out jewellery insurance to protect against personal or circumstantial loss.

Resizing

We offer one free resizing on most ring designs, subject to suitability. Please note that resizing can affect a ring's structural integrity. We cannot accept responsibility for manufacturing issues arising from resizing or alterations performed after the initial sale. Eternity rings and certain designs may not be suitable for resizing; we will advise you beforehand.

Ownership and risk

All goods remain the property of For Your Eternity Ltd until payment has been received in full. Risk in the goods (such as loss or damage in transit) passes to you on delivery. All items are shipped via insured delivery as standard.

Quotations and price validity

All quotations are valid for 7 days from issue. Prices may be adjusted in line with market movements in precious metals and gemstones before you confirm your order. Once your order is confirmed and paid for, your price is fixed and will not change.

Delays outside our control

We are not liable for any delay caused by circumstances outside our control, including supplier issues, extreme weather, customs or import delays, strikes, illness or other unforeseen events. We will always inform you of any significant delay and work with you to resolve it promptly.
