Fire Opal Engagement Rings
Fire opal is the orange to red variety, found principally in Mexico, and unlike most opal it is often faceted rather than cut as a cabochon. The best stones glow rather than sparkle.
Softer than most bridal stones at 5.5 to 6.5 on the Mohs scale — a bezel setting and a little care go a long way. We set fire opal centres alongside ethically sourced diamond accents, in solitaires, halos and trilogies. Prefer a classic white centre? Compare our diamond engagement rings, or read how to choose an engagement ring in five steps. We source ethically, price transparently, and include complimentary resizing for a year — and you can talk it through with us before you commit, at no cost.
