For Your Eternity Ltd | Effective date: 7 July 2026 | Last updated: 7 July 2026
Welcome to For Your Eternity. These Terms & Conditions set out the basis on which we sell our jewellery to you through our website, www.foryoureternity.com. Please read them carefully before placing an order. By placing an order you confirm that you accept these terms.
Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer. If any part of these terms conflicts with your statutory rights, your statutory rights take precedence.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by For Your Eternity Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales.
- Company registration number: 16261484
- VAT registration number: 486 8865 12
- Registered office: 45 Parkview Apartments, 122 Chrisp St, London, E14 6ET, United Kingdom
- Email: hello@foryoureternity.com
2. Our products
We design and create fine jewellery that is bespoke and made to order. Each piece is made to your individual specification or clearly personalised for you. Because our pieces are handmade, small natural variations in gemstones, finish and dimensions are normal and are described in section 9.
Images, descriptions and any samples are provided to give you a fair impression of a piece, but as jewellery is handcrafted the finished item may vary slightly in appearance.
3. How your order is placed and accepted
Placing an order online, by email or in consultation is an offer by you to buy from us. A binding contract is formed only when:
- you have approved the final design in writing (by email or our written order confirmation); and
- we have confirmed your order and received payment in full (or your agreed deposit, where applicable).
An automated acknowledgement of your order does not by itself mean we have accepted it. We may decline or cancel an order before production begins — for example if we cannot source the materials, if there is an error in the price or description, or if we are unable to verify payment. If we cancel, we will refund any amount you have paid in full.
4. Prices and payment
- All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.
- The total price payable, including any delivery charge, is shown to you before you place your order. Our standard delivery is free and insured (see section 6), so there are no hidden charges from us.
- Payment is taken in full at the time of order (or by an agreed deposit followed by the balance before dispatch) via our payment providers, Stripe and PayPal. We do not offer credit accounts.
- Quotations are valid for 7 days from the date of issue unless we state otherwise. Because precious metal and gemstone prices move with the market, a quotation may change before you confirm your order. Once your order is confirmed and paid for, your price is fixed and will not change.
International customers: any import duties, taxes or customs charges levied by the destination country are set by that country's authorities, are outside our control, and are your responsibility. These are not part of the price we charge.
5. Bespoke and made-to-order process
- We require your written confirmation of the final design before we begin production.
- Bespoke orders typically take 4–6 weeks to make, though this may be longer if materials are in limited supply. We will keep you informed of timings.
- Because each piece is made to your specification or personalised for you, your order cannot be cancelled or returned once you have approved the design and production has begun, except where the item is faulty or not as described (see sections 7 and 8). This reflects the exemption for made-to-measure and personalised goods under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
- If you wish to change or cancel your order, contact us as soon as possible. Before you have approved the design and before production begins, we will do our best to accommodate reasonable changes or cancellation.
6. Delivery
- All orders include free, fully insured delivery.
- Estimated delivery times once your piece is ready: UK 1–3 business days; International 5–10 business days (subject to customs clearance).
- Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave us. Ownership of the goods passes to you once we have received payment in full.
- Events outside our control: we are not liable for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as supplier delays, extreme weather, customs or import delays, strikes, illness, or other unforeseen events. If such an event occurs we will contact you as soon as possible and work with you to minimise any delay.
7. Your rights if something is wrong
We want you to love your jewellery. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the goods we supply must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If they are not, you have statutory rights that these terms do not affect, including:
- the right to reject faulty goods within 30 days of receiving them for a full refund;
- after 30 days, the right to ask for a repair or replacement; and
- if a repair or replacement is unsuccessful or not possible, the right to a price reduction or to reject the goods.
Please tell us as soon as you become aware of any problem by emailing hello@foryoureternity.com with your order number and a description (and photographs, if helpful). Full details of how returns and refunds work are set out in our Refund & Return Policy.
8. Manufacturer's warranty
In addition to your statutory rights, we provide a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of delivery. This warranty does not cover:
- damage caused by general wear and tear, accident or misuse;
- modifications, repairs or resizing carried out by anyone other than us; or
- gradual changes to a piece that are a normal characteristic of the materials.
9. Quality, hallmarking and natural variation
- Precious metals meet recognised industry purity standards and are hallmarked where required by law.
- Diamonds and gemstones are graded to internationally recognised standards. As is standard in the industry, grades and colours are approximate, and minor variations — typically within two clarity or colour grades — are acceptable due to the natural characteristics of gemstones.
- Weights and dimensions are given to a tolerance of approximately ±5% unless a precise specification has been agreed with you in writing.
- Our diamonds and gemstones are responsibly sourced and, where applicable, certified or supplied with documented origin information.
10. Ring resizing and repairs
- We offer one free resizing on most ring designs where the design allows.
- Resizing can affect a ring's structural integrity. We cannot accept responsibility for issues arising from resizing or other alterations carried out after the initial sale, whether by us or a third party.
- Eternity rings and certain designs may not be suitable for resizing. We will advise you before any work is carried out.
11. Buy-back and change of heart
A change of heart, a broken engagement or a rejected proposal is not a reason for which we can accept the return of a made-to-order piece. However, entirely at our discretion, we may offer to buy back your ring based on the scrap value of the metal and the second-hand resale value of any diamonds or gemstones. These values are typically much lower than the original purchase price. We strongly recommend taking out jewellery insurance to protect against loss, theft or damage.
12. Intellectual property
All content on www.foryoureternity.com, including images, text, logos and jewellery designs, belongs to For Your Eternity Ltd or is used under licence. You may not copy, reproduce or use our content without our written permission. Unauthorised use may result in legal action.
13. Our liability to you
We do not exclude or limit our liability to you in any way where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for any breach of your statutory rights in relation to the goods.
Subject to the above, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable, or for any business losses, as we supply our products for private, domestic use. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from an order will not exceed the price you paid for that order.
14. Your privacy
We process your personal data in accordance with UK data protection law and our Privacy Policy. Please read our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy to understand how we handle your information.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may bring legal proceedings in the courts of the UK nation in which you live. We are always happy to try to resolve any complaint informally first — please contact us at hello@foryoureternity.com.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one in force at the date you place it. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
