Pavé-Shoulder Halo Cushion-Cut Engagement Ring, 0.35ct

A cushion-cut centre stone ringed by a halo of small diamonds. The halo sits close to the centre, broadening the face of the ring without lifting it far off the finger. The shoulders carry small diamonds down to the band, so the pavé continues out from the halo rather than stopping at the head. It reads well on the hand — wider than a solitaire, but still close-set and measured.

The centre is a 0.35ct cushion-cut stone. The rubover collars each stone in a thin band of metal, which protects the girdle and keeps the profile flush.
