The shoulders carry small diamonds down to the band, so the pavé continues out from the halo rather than stopping at the head. It reads well on the hand — wider than a solitaire, but still close-set and measured.
At the centre is an oval-cut diamond of 0.25ct. Each stone is held by small grains of metal raised from the band, which keeps the setting neat and the stones level.
