Moonstone Gemstones
Moonstone is feldspar with an internal layered structure that scatters light into a floating blue-white sheen known as adularescence. The glow appears to move across the surface as the stone tilts.
At 6 to 6.5 on the Mohs scale and with a cleavage plane, moonstone is best in a bezel and best worn gently.
