Apatite Gemstones

Apatite is a collector's stone, best known in an electric neon blue-green that comes close to Paraiba tourmaline at a fraction of the cost. It is the mineral that defines 5 on the Mohs scale.

That softness means apatite belongs in pendants and earrings rather than in a ring worn every day. We buy loose so you can choose the stone first and the setting second — see our diamond and gemstone guide for how colour, cut and clarity are judged outside the diamond scale, or which gemstones survive everyday wear if it is going to be worn daily. Every stone is independently certified, priced transparently, and can be set into any ring in our collection or into a design of your own.
