Tourmaline Gemstones
Tourmaline occurs in a wider colour range than any other gemstone — pink, green, blue, and bicoloured watermelon crystals that shift along their length. Neon-blue Paraiba tourmaline is among the most expensive gems in the world.
At 7 to 7.5 on the Mohs scale it is a reasonable everyday stone in a protective setting.
